16 years in financial services together with earlier careers in banking and property development, mean that George offers experience and breadth of knowledge. Just as importantly, it has equipped him with the maturity and sensitivity to help clients going through stresses like: moving home, building a business, divorce, serious illness and caring for elderly relatives, and to deal with people from different cultures

George believes in long term client relationships and his advice is increasingly fee-based. He finds that simple solutions are often more effective and strongly advocates early planning - both for offering greater choice and saving huge sums of money. He is also passionate about informing and educating the public, whether through his weblog, speaking at seminars or his radio and TV work.

Specialist areas include mortgages (especially challenging cases), pensions, life assurance and investment. An exciting new interest is helping new business owners raise equity finance. George always refers to another specialist when necessary, and also enjoys liaising with solicitors and accountants and their complementary expertise. Some of these professionals have become clients too.

Away from work, you will find George flying Gliders, dancing the tango and salsa, and swimming...though not all at the same time.
